Proposed Postage Rates for 2007

If approved, the rate increase is expected to go into effect this Spring.

A one ounce first class stamp will go from $0.39 to $0.42, but the extra ounce will add only $.20 rather than the $0.24 charged today.

Postcards will go from $0.24 to $0.27 first class, and for pre-sort from $0.223 to $0.241.

First class pre-sort will increase from $0.371 to $0.40.  QBRM letters will increase from $0.358 to $0.395
