January 4, 2007: Comerica Bank has introduced the Comerica WorldPerks Check Card and the Comerica WorldPerks Business Check Card—a check card that lets individuals and businesses earn WorldPerks miles for signature-based check card purchases.

"Individuals and businesses are now rewarded for their debit card purchases," says Cassandra McKinney, Senior Vice President and Director of National Product and Sales Management. "Customers have another option for managing their expenses and, along with the credit cards that were introduced earlier this year, more ways to choose how to be rewarded for their purchases."

McKinney notes that Comerica plans to further expand its check card rewards program in 2007.

Individuals can select a Standard Award or an Enhanced Award option with the Comerica WorldPerks Check Card. The Standard Award program has a $20 annual fee and customers earn one mile for every $2 spent. The Enhanced Award program has a $55 annual fee and customers earn one mile for every $1 spent. The Standard Award program annual fee is waived for Comerica's Platinum Circle checking account customers who sign up for the Comerica WorldPerks Check Card.

The Comerica WorldPerks Business Check Card has a $55 annual fee and customers earn 1 mile for every $1 spent.

All new Comerica WorldPerks Check Card customers will receive 1,000 Bonus Miles for signing up. Miles earned through the Comerica WorldPerks cards can be redeemed for travel on Northwest Airlines, and their SkyTeam Global Alliance Partners and other WorldPerks Airline Partners.
